One-on-One #
A single host meets a single invitee. Availability comes from that host alone, and each slot can be claimed once. This is the default format and covers most consultations, demos, and check-ins.
Group #
A single host meets many invitees in the same session. You set a maximum capacity, and the slot remains bookable until capacity is reached. A live counter of remaining places is shown on the booking page. Group events suit webinars, office hours, and training sessions. Each invitee receives their own confirmation and can cancel independently without affecting the others.
Collective #
Several hosts must all attend. MixCalendar intersects the availability of every listed host and offers only the slots where all of them are free. Because the intersection narrows quickly as hosts are added, collective events with more than four hosts tend to show very few slots. Panel interviews and joint account reviews are typical uses.
Round Robin #
Several hosts share the load and exactly one is assigned per booking. The union of host availability is offered, and an assignment rule decides who takes each meeting. This format is covered in detail in the team scheduling section.

Format is fixed once an event type is created. To change it, duplicate the settings into a new event type of the correct format and retire the original.
