How Do You Set Your Weekly Working Hours?

1 min read

Opening the Editor #

Go to Availability and select a schedule. Each day of the week has a toggle and one or more time ranges. Turning a day off makes it entirely unbookable regardless of what your connected calendar shows.

Split Days #

Add multiple ranges to a single day to model a lunch break or a split shift. A day configured as 09:00 to 12:30 and 14:00 to 17:30 offers nothing between 12:30 and 14:00. Ranges on the same day may not overlap; the editor blocks a save that would create an overlap and highlights the offending row.

Copying Across Days #

The copy control beside each day pushes that day’s ranges to any combination of other days. Configure Monday completely, then copy it to Tuesday through Friday, and adjust the exceptions afterwards.

Time Zone Anchor #

Every schedule stores a time zone. Working hours are interpreted in that zone and converted for each invitee at render time. If you relocate permanently, change the schedule’s time zone rather than shifting each range by hand.

Verifying the Result #

The preview panel to the right of the editor shows genuinely bookable slots for the next two weeks after buffers, limits, and calendar conflicts are applied. Treat this preview as the source of truth. If a slot you expect is missing, check in order: the day toggle, date overrides, buffers, minimum notice, and finally connected calendar events.

Saving #

Changes take effect immediately for new bookings and never alter meetings that already exist. Narrowing your hours does not cancel a meeting that now falls outside them.
