How Do You Connect MixCalendar to MixCRM?

1 min read

Enabling the Integration #

Open Settings → Connected apps and choose MixCRM. Because both products sit in the MixCommerce suite, authorisation is a single confirmation rather than a key exchange, provided both workspaces belong to the same organisation.

Contact Matching #

On every booking, MixCalendar looks for a contact in MixCRM matching the invitee email. A match attaches the meeting to that contact; no match creates a new contact using the invitee name, email, and any question answers you have mapped.

Field Mapping #

Map booking questions to CRM fields in the integration settings. Unmapped answers are still written to the activity record so nothing is lost, but mapped values populate real fields you can filter and report on.

Activity Timeline #

Each booking appears on the contact timeline with its scheduled time, host, and status. Reschedules, cancellations, and no-shows update the same entry rather than adding new ones, which keeps the timeline readable.

Deal Association #

Where the matched contact has an open deal, the meeting is linked to it automatically. Bookings taken through a round robin event type are attributed to the assigned host, which is what makes meeting-count reporting per representative meaningful.

Direction of Sync #

The integration writes from MixCalendar into MixCRM. Contact edits made in MixCRM do not flow back and do not change bookings, which avoids the ambiguity of two systems both claiming ownership of the same record.
