Automatic Conferencing #
When a calendar account is connected, MixCalendar can generate a conferencing link automatically at the moment of booking. Google Meet links are created through the connected Google account, and Microsoft Teams links through the connected Microsoft account. The link is written into the calendar event and included in every confirmation and reminder message.
Third-Party Conferencing #
Zoom can be connected under Settings → Connected apps, after which each booking generates a unique Zoom meeting with your default meeting settings. Passcodes and waiting rooms follow your Zoom account policy rather than a MixCalendar setting.
Phone Call #
Two variants are available. In the first, the invitee provides a number and you place the call, which adds a required phone field to the booking form. In the second, you publish a number and the invitee calls you, in which case the number appears in the confirmation email.
In Person #
Enter a physical address, which is passed through to the calendar event so that native map integrations work on the invitee’s device. Pair in-person events with generous before and after buffers to account for travel.
Custom and Invitee-Chosen #
A custom location accepts free text, such as a room name or a link to your own conferencing system. You can also offer several locations and let the invitee pick during booking; their choice is stored on the booking record and shown in every notification.
Failure Handling #
If conferencing link generation fails, for example because a provider token has expired, the booking is still created and the host is notified that the link is missing. Reconnect the provider under Settings → Connected apps, then use Regenerate link on the booking to repair it without rescheduling.
